PLEASE DONATE TO OUR OFFICERS IN NEED
Like all Americans, we, The Brotherhood of West Chester Police are affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic. We realize that the results of the Pandemic affect different families in different ways. As police officers, we are determined to maintain the highest level of service and support our community, just as our community has always supported us. Unfortunately, recently, West Chester Borough made the decision to lay off more than 30 Borough employees and furlough almost 10 more. Those who lost their jobs included dedicated, hardworking, modestly compensated civil servants, many with more than a dozen years of dedicated service. The Brotherhood of West Chester Police is saddened by this decision. We hope that the Borough will reconsider and mirror Gov. Wolf's actions so employees and their dependents can maintain health coverage. The West Chester Police Officers have started a fund drive and kicked it off with a donation of $2,500. Donations can be made in the following ways:
- PayPal to wcpolicebrotherhood@gmail.com
- By mailing a check to The Brotherhood of West Chester Police Benevolent Association at P.O. Box 3215, 101 E Gay Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
The Brotherhood of West Chester Police Benevolent Association is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and, as such, your donations may be tax-deductible. The money collected will be evenly distributed among laid-off employees and their families.
